I'm not really a fan of colorized, if i wanted paint on a coin I'd do it myself. It would be cool if the color was from heating the metal in specific areas or a poorly mixed alloy so they were all unique though.
if it was good enough for classical greek scupture, why not coins. And I don't think they are painted. Ruben
I'm not sure but I think they are anodized images somehow. It seems that Kodak is involved with the development of the process, at least at the Perth Mint. Frankly, I'd never seen one in hand but those coins on Marine like from Paulua are worth a serious look and aren't cheap. The silvers are going for nearly $100.00 Ruben
that one is printed out and matted on my wall.. how about this This is what living in NYC will do to you... Ruben
is that a Hobo Nickel? I'm not big on Christmas and that is a fairly tacky image, IMO. But ... I like to add, because its hard to tell your intent, I assume your not fond of that metal either? If you do like it, its just my opinion....not to be taken seriously.. Ruben
I actually stayed in Rocafeller Ctr for a while, before the towers were gone. Poughkipsee for a little as well. NYC is great, but the smell takes some getting used to.
yeah - the towers... The air in NYC is actually very good. People really don't realize what living on the worlds largest deep harbor means...This is an ocean town, salt air, thick, and humid. Ruben
