I swear I've seen these coins somewhere, maybe on IG? I would say 53 and 55.

Holy cow are these gorgeous! I'm definitely not an expert on the series - but I'd guess AU53 on the first and AU58 on the second.

@okbustchaser O-111 and O-106 refer to die pairings?

Yes, die pairings as delineated by Al Overton in

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Probably 53 on the first, 55 on the second.

But I vastly prefer the first one. Such great color and eye appeal! Wow.

Well done folks, everyone was right in the ballpark.

    1- AU53
    2- AU55

The skin is so thick on the second one that it is pretty much impossible to capture the in-hand look in a photo, based just on the images I would say the 53 is more attractive but if I had to pick one I would keep the 55. It has this high relief appearance from the toning and the luster sparkles when you tilt it, I’ve never seen a coin quite like it. The reverse on the 53 wins out for sure between the two though. Luckily I don’t have to pick between them and both are keepers.

And for fun, here is the TV on the 53 vs. @robec photos. His smoke the TV in my opinion, they’re more balanced and show how nice the surfaces are. (Thanks again, Bob.) 6F5EE43A-D2B9-4D57-AF33-436547F37663.jpeg C5CE2425-DE8B-412A-BA90-0B66F137EE74.jpeg

Care to share your reasoning? I find it to be a difficult coin to grade so I’m curious to hear analysis on this one from anyone who wants to share.

It’s not about the wear. In my opinion she is too dark and doesn’t seem to have enough remaining luster.
