First ever colorized US coin mintage/product limit confusion...

A lot of individual collectors did the same thing, had all their friends order them as well and bought them off of them. Sometimes at cost, sometimes at a profit for their friends.

Well the S mint quarters weren't made for circulation. They are business strike QUALITY, not business strikes made for circulation. The 2019 and 2020 W quarters ARE made for circulation, and if you look long and hard enough, you should be able to find those. (The problem is there are thousands of other collectors also searching for them and hoarding them as they find them. So the number in circulation decreases RAPIDLY.)

The mint achieved exactly what it wanted with the W quarters program: many thousands of people started looking at their coins. Some percentage of them became collectors in a small way. Gensun percentage of those might become purchasers of mint numismatic products...

 

What U S Coin says this ? Is it in Latin ?

I've seen coins say 'Liberty', 'IGWT' , E Pluribus Unum , and some other stuff , but never seen a coin that says 'no product limit ... '
