I used to have this book but gave it to my Friend in Spain. Now I can not seem to find one anywhere. I would take one even with the binder ripped off of it. Anone able to help me ?
Heck I would trade some of my coins for this book.

@Victor_Clark Thank you! I have never seen that book before have you? I am not sure how it is compared to the one I am looking for.

No, I have not seen it, but figured it might be of interest.

How thorough is the Islamic coverage in the three works mentioned?

My computer won't even let me connect to that link. I have a feeling that it's not kosher!

I believe it's an early edition, different from the current version.

    Hi @DonnaML,

@Broucheion Thank you ! Yes I am pretty sure it is an early version , I think there are about three or 4 revised editions and I think the 2008 is the newest one. I just went through and copied all 242 pages as jpeg images and saved them to a folder.

@DonnaML Thank you also! I looked at the links you posted Donna and the only one that seemed like a fair price with shipping is an older edition also, another I tried to purchase it from Spain but it will not let me enter my information it is set up for Spain only . I have been looking off and on for about a year and will just keep looking with everyone's help here I am sure I will find one.

I bought mine from Craven in Valencia 10 years ago.

    They still list it:

Postage from Spain (to Ireland, at any rate) is slow at the moment - I'm waiting over two months for another book from a (different) Spanish company at the moment.

(Actually, maybe that's the Spanish site you mentioned trying already, as I posted that link in April)

The one that DonnaML posted wanted almost $50 to ship by mail. Not counting the price of the book

I wasn't previously familiar with that website, and have been spending the last hour or so browsing through their auction catalog as well as their general inventory of numismatic books. I enjoy looking at that sort of thing almost as much as I enjoy browsing through catalogs of actual coins!

I talked to Maria Fanning She is a very pleasant person to talk to. She had asked how I had found out about their auction and website and I told her I had found about them from this forum and about all the great people on this forum. I would give them a real good look at what they have to offer.

thank you @akeady for the link to the current Kolbe & Fanning auction. I found the last volume I needed to complete my BnF Monnaies de l 'Empire romain series.
