    With 1808 I take us to the Duchy of Nassau (modern day western Germany) with this kreuzer (KM 10).

    Lundy Island. The then owner of Lundy, Martin Coles Harman, argued that it was outside the realm of England, so produced his own coins in 1929 which circulated on the island. This was forbidden by the 1870 Coinage Act, so he was charged and fined £5. The puffin was equivalent to one penny.
