The coin posted by Severus Alexander is a modern forgery IMO.

..idk..i've looked at 1000's of Otho coins...my 1st was a forgery....i don't like the look of the 1st and the second's hair style doesnt sit right with me...it took me years to get Otho(chipped n all) in my collection and lot's of ...adventure, not to mention shopping and looking, studying......but ..im from Missouri....:D Otho!! 001.JPG Otho!! 002.JPG

Sold my Otho a while back but with hindsight I wish I hadn’t. It had an edge scruff which I wasn’t too happy about.

Maybe someday I’ll find something without issues to add to my growing ancient collection :)

Otho #2 was submitted for grading , but unfortunately did not get a fine style designation. Graded NGC Ch XF 4/5 4/5 for strike/surface. Thought it had an excellent chance at fine style. Still a fantastic coin in my opinion. D15C005E-C33D-49F4-A155-9452DC0745BC.jpeg

We thought it was nice style, just not quite Fine style. There's a certain artistic flair that one has to see to get the Fine Style designation.

    Still a very nice coin.

I like #2 for the toning.

Here's mine. Why don't you buy both and I will trade you even for the one you don't keep? I will even throw in the plastic flip.

I thought maybe the hair strike/wear and reverse would knock it back, but i thought the facial features tipped it in good favor compared to others I’ve seen. Still happy as no underlying issues with the coin, and a nice toning to it.

Glad you guys have a presence online and offer feedback on grading. The other grading companies dont do that and it is very appreciated. Thank you
