Demetrius 1 or 2? And is this coin valuable?

    Looks like sylphyum or a not so shaggy coconut palm.

    It is definitely a Demetrios, Tyre mint. Looking at the (young) face and nose my guess would be Demetrios II at his first reign. Reference: SC 1970.

    This type is not uncommon and the condition is not the greatest so I would say not valuable.
