1921 S penny error?

    Good afternoon, still milling through a large bag of pennies and wanted to see someone else's opinion. It's in better shape than most of the wheat pennies I have been coming across. My question is regarding the "1" in the date. The rest of the lettering seems to be in great shape but as you can see the one is very faint and was curious if that is an error or just somehow only wore on that number. I did research quite a bit and other than finding out there were not as many minted and a few double dies I couldn't find anything similar. Thank you in advance for any info you have. Apologize for all the questions.

    Banana peel on his lapel, top of 1 looks nicked, lots of wear also....

    Possibly a grease filled strike, but minor.
