Hello there, I found a pretty cool dime in a box of circulated dimes. I can't find anything similar through research and the closest I can find is possibly a greased die error but was hoping someone had a better opinion. I am researching every day but I am stumped. Thank you in advance. The Dime has string detail on the center of the coin on both the Obverse and Reverse but all of the lettering is very faint on bot and as you can see in the pictures they date, mm, and in god we trust are all hard to discern. I saw something close with striations from the center of the coin out that they were referring to as a "button coin" but there was not a lot of info. I appreciate any feedback you all might have so much! Thank you.
A normal coin struck from overused/worn dies. Not an error, I'm sorry to say. This effect is very common on Quarters, and Dimes.
