The only thing I hoard are 72 and 88 cents. Saving them so the grandbabies can inspect them. It’s getting out of hand too. So that’s why I ask. I do have a complete set of Kennedy haves thanks to @TexAg

That just scratches the surface. The Cat Hoard has quite the depth already.

The chance to find Lowell W's in the AMP's you have would spur me to open them with the exception of 2 rolls. Even if nothing found, you could still re-roll them and add them to the cat hoard. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

That was a consideration. But Meow felt intact rolls where next level better to have. Meow did open 4 rolls with nothing in them, so kept the other 21 intact. That are all stashed in the Cat hoard along with the 30 rolls of Missouri ATBs. Actually, its 28 intact Missouris' and two clear tubed ones. As Meow got them in two batches, and inspected one roll from each batch to make sure what was there.

Banks shut my CRHing down, but my work recently started making us hand roll coin counter bags to have change on hand. I had to quickly roll half of the quarter and penny bags, so no time to really cherrypick, but these guys stuck out.

That 1955S is stunning for a coin machine survivor. Looks to have a die gouge running through Pluribus. Looks to me to be a lower MS red brown, but it will definitely upgrade my 55s in my roll hunting album.

MS or Mint State in silver coins is a designation of how clean and reflective the surface is. MS and PL and DMPL are Mint State, Proof Like, and Deep Mirror Proof Like. A silver dollar in DMPL is really beautiful.

Between the national coin shortage and very likely totaling my car, I haven't been able to CRH as much as I’d like. However, my neighbor brought me an accumulation of coins to go through earlier today. This was the only interesting find I made aside from a single 68S Lincoln Memorial Cent.

Edit: Any suggestions for removing the foreign substance on the reverse?

I have just recently started doing large scale coin roll hunting mostly with halves and quarters. I have done 3 boxes of halves found 3 proofs and 15 silvers (40 percs). I was wondering if anyone has a stat of what there average find ratio is per box and what it is they find. Thx

You might want to ask @TexAg about that.

stats, no but that much silver is not common. You have been blessed with beginners luck! Lots of folks get "skunked" for more than one box before they find a little. NIFC like proofs you found are more common.

coin dip, or just leave it. cleaning usually leaves it worth less than leaving the stain.

My 5-year average searching about $150,000 worth of boxes of halves is about 1 silver coin per box. During this time I’ve searched boxes of halves in 6 US states, so I consider my sample size/array to be reasonably representative.

Your silver find rate is waaay above my average, COINgrats!

Found 16 proofs and 3 2017-S enhanced BU Kennedy’s in the last box I went through. The enhanced UNC coins were sure cool to find! I’ve found a whole bunch of proofs this year CRHing, but here were of the best quality yet. Also pulled a “key date” 2012-S and 4 2019-S proofs. What are 2019 proofs doing in the wild already? Is someone breaking open sets for some reason? DC17027D-7E55-45A2-A3A2-D55BA8712218.jpeg 5F5B5070-E23B-44B4-9059-958E7C3DCD7D.jpeg
