I don’t believe it’s MV for 62 justifies sticker expense. The toning may be a reason to bump up price. I say green bean on it. But sheet shows no CAC bid premium on Morgan dollars under MS64.

I would price it in stratosphere (based on auction data) for the toning crowd.

For me the sticker only means I use the CAC bid as basis for pricing. So if the change in bid value does not justify Sticker cost the guy wasted his money lol.

No bean. It's not even attractive.

I really can't tell, I'm uncertain about the potential plus or minus of the toning. So in a sign of deep respect, I will tag along with wxcoin and say no bean.

This one was average (probably a B coin to CAC). Lots of people said it was too dark. I thought it was decent (I did buy it after all :p) but wasn't in love with it. I bought and sold it for around the same $240. I don't think the sticker matters much on toned Morgans below MS 65 but some still want them. I'm not sure if it played a role in selling, but I speculate that it did help.

Note: if we don’t know the status of a coin before the reveal and more people say green CAC for a gold CAC coin, then it will go in the area of “Gold CAC on coin but should only be Green” ....see round 3 as the example case

Rd. 10 was 4-4...I interpreted that CircCam would consider it a no (based on a similar example), which swayed the overall vote to a lean towards no.
Rd. 13 was tied between green and gold at 4-4...I interpreted that geekpryde would consider it a gold

In looking at CAC coins on AS today a lot of toners bringing strong bids. I was considering a 1947 50c CAC Pcgs 66 bid non CAC 130 CAC 170 I backed off it was dullish with a couple black spots. A B- at best lol and that’s being gracious. Why get in a bid war for that when I won a 1943 Mexico 50c in MS65 plus for $35? Lots of blast pop 1 just 38 higher. I think a lot them of bidding on those Coins like the US 1947 50c really don’t know how look at coins or what a nice BU really looks like. From my table on the bourse I would be pressed offer more than $100 for that 1947 50c sticker or not lol. US coins seem overpriced vs world IMO even without the sticker game. I think a lot of them bidding up coins like the 47 bc of sticker will lose money especially if they have no idea sell one for or grade.

OK, since no one else is doing it I guess I'll go.

Bought this raw, sent to PCGS in 2011 and came back AU50. Sent to CAC in 2012. What happened?

I'd give it a green bean but that's me, a guy with a less than .500 batting average.

    I'll say YES to Green
...I'm a bit worried about the hits on the reverse but think they are acceptable on an AU 50
