Let's do this a little differently. These photos are a replication of the seller's photos (2nd set), and I had the 'luxury' of knowing the grade. You get to guess the grade, and also whether or not you would have bought the coin based on the photos and your guess at the grade. As for cost, the price is inline with whatever grade you're guessing. These were the seller's photos I was going off of:
MS 66 And I would take a chance if it went at the going rate for a 66 (since it's not that expensive and looks like there might be some potential).
Grade I’m going for Au55 seems a lot of marks for MS and very little eye appeal . And I would pass it seems ugly to me and the black could be hiding issues ETA: wondering if that is fire damage
Perhaps Uncirculated details, although the reverse photo is so dark that you can't see much of anything, environmental damage. I would only buy it as a part of a junk silver deal. I would never buy it as a single coin.
Confused. The posting is for a '53 but the photos are of a '57. Is it an "incorrect date mint error"? Ugly but Priceless LOL. GTG? AU Details is my guess. I wouldn't buy it for over spot and certainly not for the collection.
I can't tell the diff. between PF and UNC. on that coin...can't see any mint mark...If it's in an old ANACS slab, then that's the worst black cancer ever seen...MS64 is my crazy guess!
