Interestingly, I feel like some of the group lots went quite cheap.

    I won this lot [IMG]

Which for two Fulvia quinarii and an Antony/Lepidus quinarius, I think was fairly cheap. The Flaccilla is also a worthy coin; the AE4s are common, but not in that condition.

Also this lot I feel was a steal for 40 pounds below the estimate

About 6 pounds per coin; and assuming no major damage to that rouble, it's worth about 50-75% of what I paid for the whole lot. Most of the coins in here are worth a fair bit above their silver content alone, so perhaps this just wasn't the correct venue for assorted early 20th century silvers as a lot?

I'm working on the assumption that the Caracalla in this lot is smoothed and a little bit tooled, but assuming it isn't an outright fake, I still got a good deal on this lot. The example on Wildwinds is moderately corroded and still sold for 4x what I paid for this lot.

Also got my FedEx confirmation that my winnings since March have shipped, although it says estimated time of delivery is 30 minutes ago, and the coins are still in London

@Victor_Clark I knew that it was a cryptogram and how rare it was. I also knew it was the symbol for Amor or Roma. I bid what I honestly thought was a crazy price of £400. The information I had on my coin was just copied from wildwinds not that I missed its importance. Nice coin !!!! If you ever come upon one that is not as nice and decide to sell let me know please.

I only bid on one coin and I was fortunate enough to win it.

I sat this one out, though I suppose it follows along with the trend of rising hammer prices.

I was only watching a few items of interest and thought the owls were not outrageous in price. There was one with some old toning I was bidding on, but it didnt have really any of the crest showing or else I would have bid it up much higher. I cant stand the blast white ones. Theres lots of them around so I'll wait until there is one I'm in love with. Roma's estimates are usually low and from (limited) experience, hammer is usually 1.5-2x estimate.

I was bidding on few provincials, got only one, actually just below estimate. Some of my bids were twice the estimate, didn't really help. Ebay, here I come...
