What would you grade this puppy? Also, is that a lamination or die crack on the Reverse? I took the pictures in bright light, and then reduced the light in Photoshop. (and btw, I bought this for $1 )
I'd go G-4 myself. Currently greysheet bid is $5.50, so I'd say you did just fine. I don't see anything out of the ordinary on the reverse, except for a mark touching the rim between the I and N of "UNITED", and I don't think that's a die crack. Oh, wait...upon looking again, I see a long horizontal line, just below the V that goes nearly from rim to rim. That could be a die crack, I suppose.
I'd say it's a G-4 just barely. Because of the rim nearly disappearing on the reverse at about 5 o'clock...this coin is a slider AG3/G4 to me but I would call it G-4.

I don't know what that line is, but I'd say it's not a die crack. For one, it's too bold accross the raised details. With that amount of wear, the die crack line would have worn away as to be probably unnoticeable. If it were just in the fields I might say otherwise. It looks like a tape line, as it matches the yellowed pattern on the top. Guy~
