It was a 65. Now it's a 64 with a CAC. CAC agreeded with the 64. Leave it be as it's a nice coin at 64 with the CAC. If you crack it out it makes me think you're trying to make it a 63.

I just bought another nice toned PCGS CAC. The 04-O will stay PCGS.

An NGC 65 is worth more than a PCGS 64 almost 2x as much. Don’t let the Pcgs koolaid drinkers bug you. NGC /PMG have more material on eBay than PCGS. CDN 64 CAC on this is $65. Cdn ms 65 non CAC is $100. The CAC premium in 64 only $11. If you can leave the coin in it’s Pcgs slab and specify minimum grade of 65 on the submission form.

If you leave as is (my recommendation)you can use the color to market the coin. I would price the PCGS64 at bid x2 $135 or more. I play the crackout game to win not lose. You might try it as is in bay auction starting at $350 and see if the toning hobbyists jump on it.

The Pcgs premium for bluesheet vs ngc does not become a material factor until grade MS 67 on this issue. Ignore the koolaid drinkers below the 67 grade or entirely as this coin with its color is super PQ.

However the coin has marks on the face which I believe keep it from making 65 at NGC. Some posters on Pcgs board (probably never sold on the bourse) tried cross their coinsto NGC thinking get higher grade but some coins got lower grades. Ignorance on their part.

So due to marks on face I am skeptical it will make 65 at NGC. JA seems to agree as Cac green not gold. Save your money leave as is and retail it on the color. Price at 5-10 times bid? Why not. Numerous CAC coins achieved that.

When I first started reading this thread, I thought it must be a fairly high-value Morgan to warrant the expense of 1st having it graded by ANACS, then PCGS.

Now I'm wondering if the OP hasn't spent almost as much on grading (twice?) as the coin is worth? Personally I'd have been really happy with an ANACS 65 grade, & delirious with the PCGS grade. Even if it were "raw", to me, the coin speaks for itself, but a PCGS MS64 CAC is even better.....

The value of this coin is related to the rainbow toning. No matter the numerical grade, the coin is worth $300-$400.

And in the real world those numbers you posted are significantly off

Your CAC guide prices aren't even right as a 1904-O MS 64 CAC guide is $88 and plenty of them have sold for the same or more than a non CAC 65.

Of course that all completely ignores the color where without question a 64 CAC with monster color is better than a non CAC 65
