2019 dime what you think

    Looks like to me that it got caught between a rock and a hard place. Wait for others.

    I agree with the rest that the dime has been damaged . It has been laying on top of another coin when this was done. I can see part of the imprint of another coin where the word dime is.

    Cleaned up back new pic so some one added the extra letters on dime. So how was that done with the letters 20200626_222352.jpg

    Is it by one coin heating up and transferring to the dime

    Notice some of the letters are backwards? Two coins were put together, wrapped in a rag and squeezed in a vise.

    It’s incused and reversed. That indicative of a another coin being pressed into it. Probably a vice job.

    No it was not heated up. The letters were pushed into this coin when someone struck the other side with a hammer or used a vise to force the two coins together . Notice how they are sunken in and backwards.
