All the prices seem about the same as before though, just a chance to get something they remove from website before. I did get some 2004 mint sets. The westward journey nickel coin set got sold out, what does it contain?
Can't get real excited about this "clearence" sale. Seems like mostly junk that I never collected in the first place.
Ya, I don't collect the statehood quarters. What happened to the gold buffalos that were rumored to be sold. I guess it was just a rumor.
I looked over the list and didn't see anything that really grabbed me. Oh well. Does anyone have the offical source for the list of products the mint is discontinuing? I've read a rather extensive one here and there, including the one on this link provided on CT in another thread http://blog.numismaticnews.net/buzz/Mint+Cuts+Bullion+Products+Drastically.aspx, but have yet to see where the information came from.
I ordered last night at about 12:10 am Eastern time (10 mins after they started the sale). Tried to order 2004 Mint Uncirculated sets. It showed in my shopping basket but when I did the total it didn't add up. Only thing I could get was the 2003 P & D nickel rolls before they sold out. Good stuff went right away.

American Eagle platinum proofs come to an end, too, except for the one-ounce coin. Uncirculated gold American Eagles will be discontinued except for the one-ounce size. All American Buffalo uncirculated "W" collector versions will be ended. Proof American Buffalo gold coins will be stopped except for the one-ounce coin.
Buffalo fractionals The Buffallo "W" one oz is new for 2008. and all the Pf Unc 1/10, 1/4 & 1/2 oz are one year issue mintage very low. may be a good buy, but the premium is so high.
I just checked and it is still listed but anyway I just ORDERED a 2007 mint set . So thanks for the scare.
