What is the Value of a "Details" Graded Coin

Here's one that I had come back recently. It is a very small coin but in had it show natural patina but the field show minor hairlines which is why they opined that it was cleaned. Auction houses like Heritage will not handle it unless it has a numerical grade even though it is a fairly rare issue and is clearly uncirculated. So in this case, the "details" designation has limited my ability to get the coin seen by collectors to eBay cert_39340954_trueview_196378685_Large.jpg 20200623_093028.jpg .

That the idea. I don't want to pay much over melt (likely will have to for the One dollar type 2 and the 3 dollar because those are rare and in demand) next time I go to the city I going to hit up some gold buying places and such . I will at some point also go for an AU/Unc set as well.

Yeah doesn’t that just break your heart. You do your best checking coins. But when a pro grader kicks you in the teeth . It’s time to ask for help before doing it (buying) on your own. I feel you member. Just guessing

My buying is for what I want to add to my type collection for the here and now and not for resale value later. Thanks for the reply!
