OK. I bought this coin recently for my Washington Quarter set because I thought it would look really nice in hand. Seller photos weren't great but it was cheap so I took a chance. In hand, I love the toning. It has a lovely blue/red that I just couldn't quite capture. Definitely worth the price to me. Coin currently resides in a blue ANACS slab.
Looks nice. I don't try and guess grades on modern proofs as it's the hairlines that are generally the limiting factor, and you generally can't see them well in images.
So, here is the result. I bought it with bad photos but the toning looked interesting. I figured based on the grade it would be a hairlined mess but in hand it's really not. The toning is a little dark and perhaps they knocked it down because of that...but it has lovely red/blue to it and I think for $18 it was totally worth it. To me, it looks like a lot of PF65 coins that I have seen.
That's the opposite of what I expected with ANACS...Sometimes I think they toss a dart for their number.
