With as many coins as you find, I am beginning to suspect that they had bad tailors who couldn't keep the holes in their toga pockets sewed up.
Nice finds! What's the hinge thing at the back of the coins? ...... galba I'm going out tomorrow for my first md day since February as the lockdown here has now softened and I can't wait!......Paul
When I was a kid, a buddy and I decided we were going to go out in our field and dig a hold to China (this was in Southern US). We were serious, and spend the better part of the day digging. I keep thinking NOW, that you have had all this wonderful success, that we should start that project again. Instead, @galba68 , I will redirect our efforts towards YOUR fields in the UK. I coming for ya, and will dig underNEATH your finds. You will only find empty holes for your finds!
.......You'll be in the wrong country try Serbia... ...Aaah OK thanks...Here's one I picked up a while back.. Alas hasten to add not the coin!
I find the date range of the coins found on the same day interesting. That Domitian must have been there a long time before the Constantine II.
