Odd 1985 half dollar error?

    Need a much better picture, one that has some light on the coin (turn on the lights)

    I'd hazard a guess that it's either acid damaged or a trivial Misaligned Die (MAD)

    I can see a number of parallel striations running SW - NE on the obverse, could be an annealing issue

    Looks more like it was dipped in something acidic.

    Looks like a heavily corroded (verdigris) coin that was whizzed clean on a wire wheel.
    There seems to be lots of green spots still remaining on it. Look at the g in god.

    It's been cleaned and it still shows the reason it was cleaned.
