What kind of plastic envelope is that? Best advice I read above was to repackage them and soon..Very nice morgans! zg

  3. its a heavy plastic with a open big flap. I think it protects them good.

I just want to make sure for you that the coins, all, are protected from contaimanents i.e. miosture, air, grease and oils. Finger prints are killers for coins. Please wear cotton gloves if you have them. Or else limit your handling of them. Pick them up with fingers on opposite edges.
I hope you strike a great deal, best of luck. Nice Morgans and American Silver Eagles,ASE. zg:hail:

Your photography is getting much better. Be sure and read what Zeke said above about handling the coins. You won't need to take the ASE or the Maples out of the wrap, but eventually to give the best response you will have to take the Morgans out of the flip to take photographs. You can do one at a time photographing as close as possible and keep in focus, both the front and the back, maybe putting them on a piece of unused printer paper gently. So 2 photos for each Morgan. Then the folks here can give you their opinion. Glad we can help. Just don't handle the coins but by the rim, and put them back into the flip afterwards.

    wanting,

    I have a few questions.

What prompted you to buy these coins? Did you buy the coins to collect or as an investment? Did you plan the purchase for a long time or was it an impulse buy?

Did you buy these coins from a telemarketer? Why are you intent on selling the coins quickly?

I'm probably stating the obvious but a little homework before buying would have saved you a lot of money and a lot of aggravation. I know that doesn't make you you feel good but it is something we tell people practically every day.

Crooks like the one that sold you these over-priced coins are a scourge of our hobby. They prey on everyone, especially the elderly. Last year my neighbor paid $32,000 for coins that I estimated were worth less that 1/4 that amount.

Good luck in selling your coins. I hope your loss is not severe.
