Lathe lines present themselves very differently than the "anomalies" your coin has. While I appreciate you researching this further and showing comparative examples it remains clear that your coin was damaged after it left the mint.
After all this I can't believe the OP still thinks the coin is a mint error. All the evidence presented by the OP is very interesting but has nothing to do with the coins she posted. Unbelievable!!!!
@paddyman98 Try this link: https://varietyerrors.com/uncategor...atWDJ6I2M_xGJTPzZl7qw-Ye2KToUkijUr3npYQq08ArY I know some members don't like to click on links but this is a secure site. It's the same you'll get if you clicked on the link the OP provided.
Could you "ponder" that it could be a combination of the two kids of errors I posted the photos of? Seems like the sharpest tool in the shed -went to the store.
The faction all across the US is just a pooor me expose. Shouldn't @little ol me have to apologize. Won't say whether or not your trolling is acceptible. If you think we?
Thanks.. I have seen that link before. It has nothing to do with this persons coin. But what do we know.. we are haters!
Or he is just a troll pleading for someone to tell him what he wants to hear. Here ya go: your extremely rare error coins are worth thousands, if not, hundreds of thousands of dollars. Please list them on Etsy and Ebay so you can start raking in the big bucks. Good luck!
I just can not wrap my brain arpund the idea that someone spent so much precise time AND LEFT NO EVIDENCE to support the claim that you guys want me to believe. I am dedicated to be shown one way or the other cuz where I come from you SHOW not TELL!
Half of the reverse design has been ground away, that is the evidence. What more do you want, a signed confession from the person who did it? Have you weighed the coin on a very accurate scale? I'll bet you it will be a little underweight from the removed metal, would that be evidence enough?
Why do you say it has nothing to do with my coin? It only interested me because it is exactly the issue with my coin...between the two links ..about lathe lines and the circles. Maybe instead of being afraid of the unknown you should venture to give me a chance. In the beginning of this forum thing y'all wanted me to show why I believe the way I do...i have with even similar posts from accredited web sites. Yet my knowledge is much more ignorant than yours. How's that? Has ANYBODY read what the links are about? Instead of just looking at the pictures? This ain't playboy guys ...READ THE WORDS!
WHO SAID ITS GROUND AWAY? I see no gouge marks or sand paper or he'll I don't even see any buff marks.
