After going through several coins, this one seemed to be the most interesting to me .. so far. Let me know what you all think!
Howdy Trustme - Welcome to the Forum !! It's a nice common date Morgan, grade VF, value about $10 - $12.
Thanks for the quick response! The pictures are from scans. I will try and take some with my camera when I have more time. I'm also going to school full time, so I have to do my fun things in between essays and tests. Yuck. I'm wondering where everyone buys those little cases that I see coins in. They are white with a film over the coin. I don't know if that is the best way to preserve coins, but so many are using them I'm thinking it probably is. Any advice would be appreciated Thanks again!
My scans didn't come out that nice. Doug has a favorite supplys dealer he'll point out in a few minutes. Ruben
Welcome to the forum. What you are describing is called a 2X2 (because they measure 2" X 2"). They are cardboard with a window sized for various denominations. The window is covered with mylar. 2X2s are fine for short-term storage but there are much better choices for long-term storage. For LT storage you should use a flip that is PVC-free.
