Neat planchet lamination error on a Lincoln cent

    Here's an major error on a 1958-D Lincoln cent. It's hurt at the date and at the rear of his shoulder. A lot went on when it was struck. I'm pretty sure it's a 1958 but it could be a 1956. What do you think went on with it? Enjoy, Mike

    Nice Lamination. Its actually a Planchet Issue (Defective Planchet) and not a strike issue.

    That is definitely a keeper. Pretty cool lam!!! Love it. From the pics it look to be a 56 but if you take a forward picture straight in front of it maybe some one could tell...
