2018 d penny off center?

Is this off center? I noticed the misaligned there not the same kind of opposite. But this one is not opposite... also next to the rim it’s looks like melting..but Maybe I’m wrong... need little help guys please. Thank you!

It is niether Off Center or a Misaligned Die Strike.

What you are seeing is a result of Die Deterioration.
Not really collectable.

It's a worn die strike Mam.

 

It is considered Design Devouring Die wear.

That ring is called a Ridge Ring

 

Good reason to be careful, I saw one of these listed somewhere as a "rare" error and they were asking like $1000!!!

 

That’s why I wanna stop searching and comparing my coins in the other site sir a lot of time they are wrong because I’m always wrong everytime LoL I like to ask CT to make sure my coins Is good to save. Keep looking though. There is good stuff out there. Though not shield cents. They are ugly abominations and should be removed from the face of the planet
