The old adage of Supply and Demand rings true. Anything is as valuable as someone is willing to pay for it.
You have to remember, these nickels are the equivalent of the first of the 50 State Quarters in the sense that they are bringing a large number of new collectors into the hobby. And, as we all know too well, when you start out you don't always know better. In the case of coin collecting, a lot of people start out by making purchases like those on eBay - or maybe buying off the shop at home TV shows. I one sense, I wish it wouldn't happen, but in another sense, I am glad it does in that our hobby benefits by the addition of these new and eager collectors!
I think the person who finished in second place is a shill bidder. Out of 78 auctions, 75 are from the same person. Questionable
I wonder if the seller is going to mail the buyer rolls from his personal stock, or merely place another order with the Mint and have them sent to that guy’s address. No, it would have to be from his own stock; the Mint would send two rolls !

I found 6 rolls at the Great day food market,12 dollars for all 6.I also put 20 coins that I got at the bank between cardboard ,hope they tone up nice.
