I have seen the image on the reverse of this coin before but I cannot remember where. Can anyone help, please? AE18 mm - 2.33 gm
it is right facing, but looks like it might be a radiate head only, versus the radiate and cuirassed bust that I posted.
I am leaning away from Gallienus because I am unable to find a radiate Gallienus bust (R) with an IMP C (or G) legend. Also, I am now 'tossing up' between PAX and SOL for the reverse.
Thank you all who contributed. (How about . . . ) Antoninianus of Claudius II 268-270A.D. (AE18 mm., 2.33 gm.) Obv: IMP CLAVDIVS AVG. Radiate Cuirassed Bust (R) Rev: PAX AVG. Pax standing left holding branch and sceptre RIC Vi Siscia 186 Agreed?
