okay I came across a dollar bill today with george washington on both sides of bill...I got it as change and it is in very good condition with just a crease from being folded in half....about 70% of the George portrait side has been printed in reverse on the 'ONE' side in the exact positions...what type of error is this and does it have any value...the George in reverse portrait is really clear and definite....
It is a partial front to back offset error. A fairly common error, as far as errors go, a decent example you have there. The circulation roughs up the value a bit, unless you are inclined to collect, and in that case, an error that you yourself find in circulation always bumps up desirability in my mind...
thanks for your replies...it was kinda of shocking that this bill made it into circulation and you get it as change at Walgreens!
I have found a 1 dollar bill ...... EDITED: You can only sell in the classified section after 10 normal posts in the other areas.
