MS 63 (I was debating between a 63 and 64 but went conservative here based on some of the scattered hits)

    Lovely Peace dollar! I think it's a bit higher - MS64.

First impression was MS 64 with the slight hits scattered on obverse and left field on reverse as well as wear on the hair near ear. Beauty with good luster though!

Remember that this date is a conditional rarity in MS 65 and over, just like 1924s, and 1927s.

I’m so far outside of the group on this one I’m going to pass.....

My first impression was a lustrous low end MS64, so that is what I'm sticking with.

    MS64

I think this coin got a plus designation.
The luster is outstanding, so I say 64+.

I don't think CAC would put a green bean on it though, so I'll stand by my 63 guess.

The last dip I think was detrimental to a full market grade. There just isn't enough luster, flash, to say this coin is un cleaned.

Too many dips used to automatically send this coin to AU?

    It
i agree. I have no problem with it as either a 63, or 64. The fairly nice reverse toning for a Peace Dollar gave it a bump to 64. AU, no way.

24 S and 25 S are probably the weakest struck of the series, as seen on the weak hairlines on the obverse.

I would have said 63 also judging from my own NGC MS62 that I think is a point low.
