Hey guys, it’s me again. I’ve recently been on the hunt for error coins more so than my usual silver. Well, I've found a few coins that were interesting. One particular, I’ve looked up and something similar is going for $40,000 on Etsy.

I was wondering if you all could give me your opinions and tell me if I have something that might be worth anything. Thanks and it’s good to be back! ❤️

As @paddyman98 says, that dime is DefDam (Definitely Damaged).

You'd be much better off not even looking at coins for sale on Etsy. As you'll soon learn, there's more scammers and fraudsters there than legitimate sellers.

    On ESTY it's $40,000.
    On eBay it's about $20,000.
In reality, it's worth Ten Cents.

I don’t have $40,000, especially to spend on a dime!

With the lousy picture, it's hard to tell what you have, but Esty? Really? Esty is a joke and never realistic for coins, comparing or purchasing. Spend your dime.

It does resemble a weak strike error, but it is hard to tell from the photos. Sometimes these occur as a sort-of trial piece called "die adjustment strikes," but there is no real way to distinguish the two. Given the slim chances of finding this sort of error, I think it is more likely that your coin is damaged. However, if you still want to add additional images I am sure some of us will be glad to take a look.

You can easily find road rash coins on ETSY for over 60.000 or you can make your own by throwing them down on the pavement and letting cars run over them for just one cent.
