Marks inside the letters of GOD?

    All I see is that it was minted from an old, tired, worn out Die. It's otherwise known as DDD as stated.

    It's possible but I think it's from being zinc and DDD. Given the date of 1982 my thoughts are if it was a blister it would be in worse shape due to it being 38 years old. I can't believe that Zinc Cents have been in use that long. They still can't produce nice ones at the Mint. Lol
