Norfed Liberty Currency - Silver Certificates

Hi there,
First time poster
So a long while back, I bought these 3 Norfed $s, and shortly after, had them graded mostly so they would be preserved. I finally located them and have always wondered if the Serial Numbers, being A000000 means that these are the first "off the press", or if there are more of these out there. These came from the first year of Norfed issuing Silver Certificates.
Hopefully someone here can clue me in. I'd like to think that these are for real.

Never seen these. I own a copper and silver round from the first series they put out before being engaged with the treasury. These are quite especially the first one of each denomination minted, cool thanks for sharing.

 

They are specimens which is why they have zeroes for a serial number. It does not mean they were the first ones printed. They probably printed several to give away as promotional items.

 

This makes me wonder just how many might have been printed with all zeroes. Is there any way to know? I personally have never seen another one.

Unfortunately, my notes were labeled as "specimen" by PCGS, and not $1, $5 etc.
So I suppose these would be more like considered as just promotional items.
Wish I knew what PCGS means when they establish them as "specimen". Maybe someone here knows?

 

That has already been explained. PCGS labeled them as specimens because of the serial number.
