To be honest, I have several coins that have failed CAC that I think deserve stickers. I do not let it bother me at this point, I have accepted that John's opinion is just that, an opinion. He is a great guy, I have chatted with him several times. We just have different thoughts on grading my favorite series.

For example, my personal standards on PL/DMPL are far tougher than his. I have seen many PL and DMPL in old holders before PCGS and NGC standardized attribution that I would not touch with a ten foot pole, and yet they sticker.

As a 15+ year specialist in Morgans, I trust my eye over his despite the weight his name carries.

The market pays a premium, therefore I submit, personally.

I have also learned a LOT from chatting with him about US type and the stuff I submit. I cannot suggest getting a membership, submitting some stuff, and chatting with him about it enough. You will learn something unless you're already a professional caliber grader or dealer.

I will wrap this one up early since nobody has gotten it right, and I doubt anybody will.

Gold CAC and very deserving, in-hand.

Green CAC on coin and deserves it: 21
Green CAC on coin and doesn't deserve it: 14
Gold CAC on coin and deserves it: 1
Gold CAC on coin but should only be Green: 5
Gold CAC on coin but should not sticker:
Failed to sticker but deserves a sticker: 9
Failed to sticker and should not sticker: 2
Unknown sticker status and deserves a sticker:3
Unknown sticker status and does not deserve a sticker:2

Note: if we don’t know the status of a coin before the reveal and more people say green CAC for a gold CAC coin, then it will go in the area of “Gold CAC on coin but should only be Green” ....see round 3 as the example case

    *
Rd. 10 was 4-4...I interpreted that CircCam would consider it a no (based on a similar example), which swayed the overall vote to a lean towards no.
Rd. 13 was tied between green and gold at 4-4...I interpreted that geekpryde would consider it a gold

Back to the 1879-S Morgan, I'm a bit worried by the scrapes on the cheek, but I have seen more severe examples sticker at 65. So I'll say
    YES to a Green

I'll say no on the 1879-S Morgan, mainly due to the deep mark on the cheek. Now all of you can say bean now that I took the pressure off!

    I think my post disappeared.

Here is the Morgan. I completely agree with the sticker here. A lovely coin plus an OGH.

I'm batting 1.000 with your coins. Maybe I should stick to band aids instead of beans.
