Which is the nicest 1924-S?

The coin doesn't look original to me. The surfaces appear quite glossy, which you often see on cleaned copper that has retoned. The reverse looks especially glossy to me in the area around one cent. It may just be poor photography, but I don't believe that to be the culprit.

I don't think I could spot that without a lot of experience with cents.

 

Yep, #1 is the best coin, unless you are a coin doctor. #3 could be cleaned with acetone and a rub of Blue Ribbon or Coin Care and made to look the best. It has the least amount of wear, would clean up the best.

#3 is the most potential for a seller, while it is the least desirable of the 3 coins

uh oh, late reply... haha, ok I like # 2 the most, then 3 then 1.
but I know your a sucker for a strong struck coin of a weak date.. So I suspected you would have chose #3

 

It's the same coin that DJP posted the other day, lol. The top one I posted a little while back, and the bottom one I didn't purchase yet, but I could've.
