    The person who found it didn't realize what it was until he got home and took a second look.

    Not mine... Yet.

    The negotiation may take a while.

    I’m inclined to think it’s counterfeit. I surely hope not and hope this person wins big. Everybody deserves to win but on this key date I am skeptical.

    It would take anybody in their right mind 5 seconds on google to figure this is a valuable coin. And for a price just over melt for a coin over 100 years old just seems odd. Normal silver coins at estate sales are often priced double what their true value is.

    As mentioned the rims are super bold at this grade. It looks like F15-20 for sure. I would like to see a close up of that mint mark because that is the kicker.

    Looks super mushy, besides that mint mark looks like it was glued on a few years ago, fake!! Better luck next time! ;)

    If you have $40 laying around, SEND IT!!! Get the thing graded! And DON'T CLEAN IT!!!!!!!! Whatever happens, never clean it! EVER!

    Don't look right to me. Send it in and work out the price after that.
