Military Payment Certificate, 25 cents, Series 681 (1968) Love the astronaut on the reverse of this one. Costa Rica, 1 colón, 1917 If you love the classic viginettes on old US currency but it's too expensive for you, try early Costa Rican currency... this beauty only cost $6, can you believe it? Another great piece of work by the American Bank Note Company. Congo, 50 centimes, 1997 Great picture of African wildlife (okapis, in this case). Tajikistan, 50 dirams, 1999 The reverse, of a valley road leading into the mountains, is just amazing. Feel like I'm there when I look at it! Macedonia, 10 dinars, 2003 Beautfiul mosaic of a peacock. Libya, 1/4 dinar, 2002 Another great scenery note... ruins on the front, a desert fortress on the back. Going to have to cut down soon lol... have a few dragon notes on the way then will pause for a bit so I have the cashflow for Christmas gifts!
Some very nice notes there, a couple of them I need to pick up for my own collection LOL I love the color on the Costa Rican note, it is so vivid :thumb:
Seems to be a disagreement on Banknotebank's listings of the Macedonia note... which side is considered the obverse, and which is the reverse? Anyone know for sure?
