OK - I know wrong section but I've been waiting all day to run this gag. Here is one of my pickups today. I've wanted one of these for a while and you have to appreciate the reverse proof and the unique use of the medium in the black areas of the panda. http://www2.mrbrklyn.com/coins/11092008/panda_obv_2008.jpg http://www2.mrbrklyn.com/coins/11092008/panda_obverse_2.jpg http://www2.mrbrklyn.com/coins/11092008/panda_obverse_2.png http://www2.mrbrklyn.com/coins/11092008/panda_reverse.png http://www2.mrbrklyn.com/coins/11092008/panda_reverse.jpg the png files are clear but very large. Very nice looking coin, I love the way the they alternated the mirrored parts and the frosted bits. And I would have to agree, the steps do look pretty full.
I didn't get the name of the guy who sold it to me. It cost $23, I remember that. He had several rolls. Ruben
Cool looking coin a wonderful design nice work of art to me. I think you pics are gettting clearer Ruben Nice coin Jazzcoins Joe:whistle:
The larger coins are easier for the Camera, but if this was really good, you'd be able to see the stairs all the way up to the top. Ruben
Better check the weight on that. The last show I was at a guy was trying to sell a few rolls of them. They were actually Copper Nickel with plating and weighed far less than an original. About the price range your talking too. One dealer got stuck with 20.
