Morgans are so baggy. This one, aside from the cheek nick, is pretty clean. That’s why I think it got the toning bump to 65. I have seen much worse bag marks and nicks get the 65. Given the toning, gem grade would not surprise me.

A strong 64. I love the color but I can't get past the marks on her cheek. In my opinion they keep it back from gem.

64 star but may make a 65. as others have said, that cheek scratch hurts it.

And that looks to be a staple scratch.... i agree 64 from a staple that if smashed would of been a different story.

Is the eraser-like mark on obverse above the cap on the coin or holder? The marks on the cheek and neck go beyond chatter, imho, 63 if the mark above the cap is on the holder, if on coin, UNC details. I must be wrong as no one else has mentioned it...

    I'll say MS64 star but I'm leaning towards 65.

I'll go MS64*. I just think that there are to many marks on the obverse for a 65. Amazing toning imo.

I'm also at MS64*. I think it's a beautiful coin but just a bit to many marks on key areas on the obverse for any higher.

I am at 65. No star as the toning is pretty dark and some may see it as too close to terminal. I think its a technical 64 with a bump to 65 due to the color but the color is too dark for my taste and why I don't think it got the star.

I posted the grade right above you.

I just realized you were the OP. I missed this yesterday and just saw it on the recent posts. I thought you were someone guessing. Same as the other thread you posted. Typically the entire slab is shown on the reveal hence why I confused your post above as another forum members guess.

Take it from someone who has posted a ton of GTG threads, people expect either a slab photo or at least a label photo for the reveal.

And I so totally nailed that grade! Boomshakalaka!
