If you've never heard of a floating roof, how do you know it's a floating roof?

I'm no pro but they look like Floating roofs to me. The '93 looks like it on the right side, but the left side is questionable.

I heard it the first time! Yeah, the floating roof is such a major error. Everyone should be looking for them. Send it in to PCGS for certification.

"Floating Roofs" can be found on any number of years of Memorial if die polishing has been heavy in this spot. Generally the 1969 is what gave this it's start and that's what most people think to look for first.

    What?

    Yes to all 3
The 1970's is the most common and the 1993 is nice also.

That '93 is a floating roof because it was a polished die strike. You can tell from all the lines, the polishing removed some of the details beneath the roof.

I have what I believe is a 1993 floating roof. As well as the AM almost touching. But the question I have for any one to answer is I have a silver 1976 penny with the Liberty Bell and USA stamped into it. I have found similar ones like it but not in silver?

    Oh yea?

Then start a new thread with pictures. Can't help you much without pictures!

Oh and the cent with the liberty bell is a novelty item.
It's called a counterstamp that was added after it ledt the US Mint.
