OK - I'm beginning to be cluttered with these things. This is a 1972 -S silver coin which is graded by ICG as PR69 This is not a PR69, so I don't know why and this is why I asked about ICG yesterday. It is a nice silver coin though and I brought it from Wayne Herndon at the end of the show. Ruben
the room is dark. You need some soft "back" light then. From your pics I don't see why the coin wouldn't be a 69, so we're not seeing wht you are seeing. btw, I bought my Accented Hair 64 JFK from Wayne Herndon many years ago. Nice guy.
Have you tried scanning? I get very good and consistent results using a scanner. Plus no setups and focusing.
PR 66 tops. Ikes have incredable mirror like finishes and this one is not as reflective as some that I have here, nor as perfect. http://www2.mrbrklyn.com/ikes.html Ruben
Just have to add and say your " modest" collection takes my breath away. I don't know what else but WOW and THANKS for posting it. I saved it and it will give me hours of joy just looking at it. zg
I appreciate it but trust me, my collection is SO modest. I have nothing, nothing at all...a few Ikes and some Mercs and proof sets. I left the directories open on the web server so if you right click on an image and view it. Then remove just the image part of the URL you can a bunch of other photos of coins that I didn't pst for a bunch of reasons. Ruben
Nice Ike , if your like me you're you're own coins worst critic , always downgrading them , I like it how it is . rzage
Hey - Think PR66 is a pretty good grade. What did you think of my grade on the Merc. OK - What would you grade this:
