New to the thread and I didn't read it all so hope it's not a duplicate.

Wow, that is a neat coin there! I am out of 1804s, so Ireland it is. 1928 half crown.

 

And an Ireland 1928 florin to keep it company.

(am I allowed to follow both country and year?)

Welcome, Johnsl! Beautiful coins! Thanks for sharing. I don't think there is a rule about duplicates and I dare anyone to go through all these posts and prepare a list. And I don't think there is any rule about playing the same country and year as the prior post; that's kind of like one of those wild cards in Uno, yes? Dublin? As in Ireland? Wow! Great to meet you! How're are things over there? With the coronovirus and Brexit and all that?

Back to business! A 1943 Irish one-feoirling. I think that is Gaelic for one farthing; which would make sense with the 1/4 d (one quarter pence?).
