    Hi guys,

I am new to coin collecting. I noticed on this 1968D Lincoln Penny that the 'D' Mint Mark seems to be filled in. Would this be classified as an RPM? Also would like to find out why the "8" in 1968 is not looking correct on the upper left corner. 1968D Lincoln Penny Obverse.jpg 1968D Lincoln Penny Reverse.jpg 1968D Lincoln Penny Obverse Close Up2.jpg

Sometimes there is a die chip in the mint mark, but that one is just damage. Welcome to CT

A small die chip occurred inside the D. After wear from circulation this is the result. No Added Value.
