Ok, for my sanity, I thought I'd take a poll first to double check I'm not crazy or anything. I've looked at this coin probably a dozen times this week and I always see the same thing. Maybe I'm wrong, but here goes: Which S is Upside down and Which S is right side up? S #1 S #2

This can be easy determined by googling mint mark styles, at which you'll be able to compare the mm used at different time peroids.
