How about a George II UK halfpenny? (Images not mine) The reverse looks, um, reversed, so it could be a contemporary counterfeit. There were many fake coppers in the 1700s.
This will be a contemporary forgery or evasion of a British halfpenny. The head is in the form of George III but facing the wrong way. Without a date or any writing, difficult to nail down which one, but certainly collectable - particularly in the US where these were some of the earliest circulating coins.
It looks like a Pre-Confederation Canadian Blacksmith Token. I don't have access to my reference books. Somebody may be able to find it in Charlton's Canadian Colonial Token book
I would go with Blacksmith token BL-7 to start with. The photo of the coin in the book is in the same condition as the posted coin.
