I'd love to see a Gallienus big AE... I remember someone recently got an Alexandrian drachm of his.

    Edit: Thanks, @Finn235!

I won't go past the Licinius dynasty for now - are we covering usurpers and Gallic emperors or no?

I know I am in the minority preferring we stick to the original stated rules of the thread but when a log thread becomes a pile on it is hard to keep track of where we are. Gallienus was done and I am not the one with the recent big coin requested so I'll show an AE30 of Salonina from Side which is pretty large for the period. Note the denomination I (10) in the obverse field.

Next , Gallienus' successor is Claudius II Gothicus - Ant. with Mars rev.and one with trophy commemorating his victory over the Goths which afforded him his title.

Somewhere between Gallienus and Claudius II Gothicus, we have to fit in the Gallic Empire, which temporarily seceded from the rest of the Roman Empire.

I am posting Postumus, Victorinus, Tetricus I and Tetricus II. Someone else will have to add Laelianus and Marius, but I strongly doubt that anyone has a Domitianus II (there are only two coins minted for him known as far as I'm aware, both in public collections.)

I'll entertain the Gallic empire quickly

    Postumus

Marius (legend says he ruled only 4 days)

    Victorinus

    Tetricus I

    Tetricus II
Tetricus II Pietas Avgg priestly implements.jpg

It is uncertain whether Tetricus II was ever made Augustus - there are barbarous coins that proclaim him as such
    Tetricus ii augustus pax.jpg

    Back to the main empire
    Claudius II

And his bro, quintillus, another ephemeral who purportedly only ruled for a couple weeks

Does anyone besides me have a problem with the above ID?
    Mine:
    rr2065bb3079.jpg
The type comes for father and son. Which is the one shown? There is option three where the coin could be barbarous and not fully father or son.

In hand, the partial legend "...PIV ESV TETRICVS CA..." is more legible. Therefore, I think it's indeed Tetricus II. His father's legend would, if I see correctly, end on PF AVG and not have th PIV.

The scratch makes it hard to decide whether there is a beard or not, though. To me, it looks as though there is none.

I wouldn't exclude the possibility of this being a 'barbarous radiate.' Yet if so, it copies the design and legends of RIC V 272 quite faithfully.
