    AU, yes.
    Cleaned?

Unless those lines from her back to the T Y and the ones thru the rays of the sun are on the slab, then cleaned

AU details, cleaned. Obverse shows pitting from a hard cleaning.

Sorry, I think the holder is giving the wrong impression. It did not get a Details grade.

It should have—it shows signs of cleaning.

XF 45. The scratches on the holder must be pretty severe.
On the obverse it does look cleaned, while on the reverse its harder to tell.

No matter what the slab sez... I say xf details cleaned by scrubbing and dipped to hell also look at the finer areas....you can try but you cannot get them all.

Sorry no only confirming my opinion it's cleaned....and dipped but the dirt does not come out....even using an ultrasonic it still shows.

I'm convinced that in this case, the TPG was mistaken.

My guess is slab says AU50

It straight graded as AU 50. However, it is almost completely devoid of luster. Still has what I would call abrasion in the obverse fields. A cleaned coin, that snuck through as straight graded.
