Maybe you can provide an alternate shipping address in the USA if you have friends or relatives here - once the item is out of eBay/MBarr possession, your friend can ship it directly to you in Germany - delivery, customs regulations and health details are left up to Deutsche Post - good luck
after reading all the replies (MBARRCOINS) has got some very good reviews, Cheap Advertisement from the OP, they should send the coin for free to Germany
on his "page" it should have a link to contact vendor..all listings have that i know i am a seller of collectible toys, stamps and oddities on there
on his "site" or page" there should be a link to contact him, i know, i am on ebay selling miniature furniture, collectible toys and oddities (no coins yet, lol) good luck!
Yep - find a PH # from someone here, or on internet, to contact the company OUTside of eBay / PayPal, and contact them. ed.: Good point about 'ITEM' , vs. 'SELLER' [NOT] shipping to GDR. Of course GDR government would be sensitive about 'NOTSI' history Meow. If your family had them in your lineage, you wouldn't have swastika flag in your yard ? (if you did, wouldn't bother me (unless maybe Gramps had been KIA in ETO during WWII ; even then, YOU didn't pull trigger, but I'd still ask why you fly the flag ) )
I've bought a few $2 1/2 Indians from him. He listed a counterfeit once, and I politely pointed it out to him, and he blocked me from future auctions. Guess he didn't believe me?
Errors are a little different than saying a coin is fake though, lol. Errors can be corrected, fakes would have to be pulled off and not sold (which they didn't do, by the way).
I was disappointed in their response (or lack of one). I had been a repeat customer who always liked what I bought, and I knew that most people could be fooled by a good $2 1/2 counterfeit, so thought I was being helpful letting them know they had a counterfeit. But instead of a response thanking me, they blocked me. Oh well, I buy a lot of those coins, and they lost a good bidder by blocking me.
I would never buy from him, he ripped me off! he did not send an item and would not reply to my refund. eBay had to do it! do not buy from this scammer! thanks.
Sounds like a personal vendetta. Your first post on this site. Many other long standing members have already chimed in with virtually all good experiences. Also, this thread is a year old
I have had all good interactions with MBarr. In fact, I have probably purchased over 100 coins from him, all with Free Shipping. (I love that free shipping. It makes the final cost of the coin(s) even less.) If you read everything on his pages, it says where he ships to. He also asks for patience during these trying times, and promises your shipment will go out "...in the order received." As for as refunds, I've found that contacting ebay itself is always the best way to guarantee your refund. I do not know your specific situation, so I cannot comment specifically on it.
