Hi, I'm new here, so sorry if I don't use the proper terminology, but I found this quarter a while back, one half doesn't have the edge and the other half is raised high on one side and bent down on the other. Just wondered if it was worth anything (I'm gonna keep it anyway :smile). Sorry about the light and blurriness.

First welcome to CT. Hope that you stick around. I think that what you have is an off center strike. A very nice find from circulation. Value is an arbitrary thing in that you can only get what someone would pay for your coin. But a rough estimate would be 10.00-15.00. Trust me though there will be other opinions.

    First, welcoem.
Second, are there any reeds on the edge?
    This may be a broadstrike.

    Thanks for the Welcomes :)
If reeds are those ridges, then no there aren't any
-edit- sorry, reeds like the plants on each side? cuz those are there

Sounds like a broadstrike error. Place another quarter on top of it, if it's bigger than the normal quarter - it's a broadstrike. Value would be a few bucks.
