I guess the seller did not believe me that it was plugged. The buyer must have returned it - the first auction went for $41, lets see what this one goes for.

yeah, this is one of those newly discovered ultra rare errors, commonly referred to as a worn, damaged low quality counterfeit quarter dollar.

 

Wait, it's counterfeit? Shoot, was gonna put in a bid and give it to a Fashion Designer friend that is trying to acquire holed coins like thus for her project.
